Community Outreach

Building Winery To Consumer was driven by our passion for fine wine and food pairing. However, we are all aware that, as we drink a glass of wine, there are millions of people in need, especially children. While our mission is to sell fine imported wines produced by family-owned wineries, one of our responsibilities is to give back some of what we earn to those in need.

Being aware of the high level of poverty and illiteracy in certain regions of Mexico, Winery To Consumer is committed to giving back at least 5 cents for every bottle sold to a charity organization in order to aid poor children in Mexico. We deliver on that commitment by supporting "Los Ninos de la Promesa", an orphanage located in the Tijuana, Mexico area. "Los Ninos de la Promesa" has been founded over 15 years ago by Connie and Tyler, an American couple.

After a successful medical career in California, they made the amazing decision to dedicate their retirement to take children off the streets of dangerous and cruel Tijuana and give them a lifetime opportunity with love and education.

Their mission needs ongoing financial support as well as time from volunteers. If you want to learn more, either visit their website Los Ninos de la Promesa and their Facebook page Los Ninos de la Promesa on Facebook.

Note: all the financial donations we make to Los Ninos de la Promesa are done through Children of Promise International, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on helping orphans and destitute children. A hundred percent of the donations are going to Los Ninos de la Promesa orphanage.
